AIR-KWIK ADVANTAGES
Foam Compatibility
Air-Kwik is ideal for class A and B foams, as well as the new gel foam products. Because there is no pump to damage, the foam is pre-mixed and ready to go, eliminating the need for complicated and costly foam injection and proportioning systems. There is no set-up time or delay in using foam. With class B AFF foams, Air-Kwik is perfect for flammable liquid fires and fuel spills. It is also ideal for a single firefighter to apply barricade foam. Using foam allows you the same firefighting power of much larger conventional units that are not equipped for foam. Tests show you get 2 to 5 times the fire fighting capability with class A foam.
Safety
Unlike pump-units with gas powered engines, Air-Kwik units have no engine noise or dangerous exhaust fumes. Air-Kwik units can be safely installed and operated in enclosed vehicles, such as vans, sport utility vehicles, and trucks with camper shells or canopy covers. And you never have to worry about it being a source of ignition in a vapor cloud. Plus, Air-Kwik makes less noise, so no more missing important radio messages.
Compact
The Air-Kwik units are more compact than comparable gas powered units, leaving more space for other equipment. Because of the speed of operation and the use of foam, less water is required allowing lower overall weight.
Affordability
The Air-Kwik units are very economical when compared to all its competition. They cost no more than many add-on foam systems alone!

We strongly recommend the following shutoffs and spray nozzle tips from Task Force Tips for their quality and effectiveness. We quote with a break apart shutoff valve for ease in extending a firefighting line. Other makes and models available on request.
